1.      Research & Development Engineer (Engineer I), 17 Jul 2000 to 30 Sep 2005 (5 years) 

Panasonic AVC Networks Johor Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia. 

• • Design and development of new models for Audio and Video product. 

  • To liaise and co-ordinate with other respective department such as Production, QA and Purchasing in ensuring that new model will meet the production schedule. 

  • Lead a group of members for new model Design and Development. Project: CD module (Compact disc), and DVD module used for Micro compo, DVD player and Home Theatre System. 

  • Design a multilayer PCB (4 layer) for CD and DVD module, specialist in CD and DVD servo drive system. 

  • Able to conduct a special test such as Electomagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test, weak field test, Electro-static Discharge (ESD) test and power failure test.

2.      Tutor, 1 Oct 2005 to 12 Dec 2007 

Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia 

• • Supervise undergraduate laboratories; control & electronics laboratories. 

  • Conduct scientific research and publications.

3.      Tutor, August 2009 to November 2011 

Faculty of Engineering, University of Technology (UTS), Australia. 

• • Conduct tutorial class for Electromechanical Automation (EMA 48531) course. 

  • Labs supervision for EMA 48531 course. 

  • Assisting the preparation of exams questions/solutions. 

4.      Engineer, 25 Sep 2017 to 24 Sep 2018 (Professional Training)

Department of Environment Johor, Malaysia. 

• • Involved in many electrical and electronic measurement for environmental parameters of air, water/marine and effluent waste management.

  • Examples of projects: 1) Sampling processes, measurements and verification for water treatment plant (WTP); 2) Investigation of industrial effluent treatment system (IETS) and water treatment system those discharge effluents to the rivers; 3) Inspection of an illegal manufacturing company which processes waste tyre using pyrolysis process. E.g. of measured parameters, vinyl chloride (VC), methane (CH4), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), chlorine (Cl2) etc.

5.      Lecturer, Dec 2007 to May 2013

Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia 

• • Teach the undergraduate subjects

  • Supervise the undergraduate laboratories and workshops.

  • Teach the undergraduate part time program under SPACE-UTM. 

  • Conduct scientific research and publications. 

  • Supervise the undergraduate Final Year Projects (FYPs). 

  • Supervise master by research and master by taught course students.
